We are surprised that this wonderful boy has not been snatched up yet by a family. He continues to do great in his foster home. King is fully crate trained now and will go in on command. He enjoys playing with toys all day and all evening. King also loves playing fetch in the yard and going for walks. He would do fine in a home as an only dog if provided with enough exercise and attention. He could also be placed in a home with a young female dog who can keep up with his activity level. King has visited other volunteer’s homes for temporary stays and has done well meeting new dogs. A securely fenced yard is a requirement for King’s needs. He has a ton of energy, but also enjoys snuggling with his foster family. King is a very loving and loyal companion. If somebody is looking for a young, energetic boy – King is perfect!

King is doing well in his new foster home. He is very friendly with everyone that he meets. King is very energetic and loves playing outside with ropes and balls. He is also great at playing catch and fetch. King is very sweet and cuddly with his foster family. He really wants to please his people and is very easy to train. King got to spend the weekend with one of our volunteers when his foster family had to go out of town. He got along great with both of their dogs and really enjoyed going on a hike. King is looking for a home with a secure, fenced yard and a family who will provide the exercise and structure that a young dog needs.

King is a 1-2 yr old boy who was adopted from the shelter in January. The child in his home has been experiencing severe allergy symptoms, so the family made the heartbreaking decision to surrender King to rescue. His previous owners indicate that King is a sweet and fun loving boy who almost always has a ball in his mouth. King needs a fenced yard because he is an energetic boy who loves to run. Older kids may be best because King likes to jump up when he is excited. He loves to cuddle and is completely housebroken. King has been crated during the day. He is a young boy who is still working on his obedience and leash manners. King has just arrived at his new foster home in Maryland.
